About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of SAP Basis and SAP HANA systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Lead platform modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud (AWS/Azure) and implementation of automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deploy scalable, secure SAP solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and enforce best practices for system configuration, patching, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Mentor and develop a team of SAP Basis engineers, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with deep expertise in SAP HANA and Linux environments.
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration projects and implementing automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SAP security, performance tuning, and high‑availability architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across technical and business stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate, AWS/Azure Cloud Practitioner) preferred.
