Lead the operationalization of Responsible AI governance for global AI initiatives, embedding risk, compliance, and privacy controls into delivery workflows and ensuring evidence readiness for model reviews and approvals.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Translate Responsible AI and model risk policies into concrete delivery processes and timelines for cross‑functional AI teams.
- Coordinate the collection, validation, and packaging of evidence such as data lineage, privacy impact assessments, and model documentation for governance reviews.
- Partner with risk, compliance, and privacy stakeholders to define and enforce controls before and after AI model deployment.
- Develop and maintain operational checklists, templates, and dashboards that track governance readiness across the AI lifecycle.
- Provide guidance and training to engineering and product teams on ethical AI standards, regulatory requirements, and best‑practice documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, model risk management, or related compliance functions within a large, technology‑driven organization.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI frameworks, with hands‑on experience preparing audit‑ready documentation.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, influencing technical and non‑technical stakeholders to adopt governance processes.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a track record of creating clear, actionable guidance and reporting artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in risk/compliance is a plus.
