About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall quality engineering strategy, focusing on end‑to‑end and API test architecture.
- Build, maintain, and evolve automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
- Collaborate with development managers to embed testing best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and grow a team of QA engineers, balancing hands‑on contribution with people‑management duties.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with deep knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or comparable tools.
- Proven ability to design and implement API testing frameworks and integrate them into CI pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes and continuous delivery practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and scaling QA teams in a fast‑moving software environment.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder presentations.
