Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance for industrial structural fabrication, ensuring compliance with ISO, EN/IS codes and customer specifications while driving continuous improvement and right‑first‑time delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enforce the Quality Manual, Quality Plans, ITPs, SOPs, WPS and inspection formats for all fabrication processes.
- Oversee incoming material inspection, cutting, fit‑up, welding, drilling, surface protection and final inspection to guarantee compliance with approved drawings and statutory norms.
- Lead root‑cause analysis, corrective action implementation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce rework.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into project specifications and schedules.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality management for structural fabrication or heavy industry.
- In‑depth knowledge of ISO, EN and IS codes, welding procedures and inspection techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional quality teams.
