Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee end‑to‑end data pipelines, ensuring high quality, reliability, and performance for mission‑critical operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and security teams to define data requirements, governance policies, and compliance standards.
- Lead the migration of legacy data assets to modern cloud platforms (AWS), implementing best practices for scalability and cost efficiency.
- Mentor and grow a high‑performing data engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and machine‑learning capabilities to unlock new operational insights.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud data services (AWS Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile development practices and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
