Software Engineer
Lead multiple engineering teams in a consumer banking environment, driving delivery, quality, and compliance while leveraging Agile, DevOps, and AWS to build scalable financial services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and mentor a cross‑functional team of software engineers, setting clear expectations and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
- Own the day‑to‑day execution of development initiatives, prioritizing work, removing blockers, and maintaining momentum.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Champion Agile practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps principles to accelerate release cycles.
- Ensure all engineering activities meet regulatory and internal compliance standards, conducting regular reviews and risk assessments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven track record managing teams in a fast‑paced, regulated financial services environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with consumer banking products and understanding of related compliance requirements is a plus.
