Software Engineer
Leads the strategy, operations, and team for Microsoft 365 services, ensuring secure, reliable delivery of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Microsoft 365 environment, aligning with overall IT and business objectives.
- Oversee daily operations, performance monitoring, and incident response for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Lead a team of messaging and collaboration engineers, providing coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Partner with security, compliance, and governance groups to implement controls, policies, and best practices for data protection.
- Drive adoption and optimization initiatives, including user training, migration planning, and integration with other enterprise systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 services, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related PowerShell automation.
- Proven ability to design and enforce security and compliance frameworks within a cloud collaboration platform.
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for business audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar are preferred.
