Collins Aerospace Enterprise Operations Technology & Advancement organization are seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Ops professional with deep expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to support, enhance, and expand our digital manufacturing capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with shop floor operations, strong knowledge of MES–ERP interactions, and a demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams to drive efficient, model-based manufacturing processes.
What You Will Do::
Collaborate with S/4 HANA project team to maintain and enhance integration between MES and S/4 HANA.
Serve as a subject matter expert for MES functionality, workflows, and integration points.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, IT, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate and efficient execution of model-based manufacturing processes.
Support system upgrades, data migration, validation activities, and deployment of new MES functionality.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that leverage MES and ERP capabilities to optimize manufacturing performance.
Support the development and maintenance of documentation, including training, process flows, and interface specifications.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic & international)
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
2+ years experience with shop floor manufacturing operations
2+ years experience with MES systems in a production environment.
Experience with interactions between MES and ERP platforms.
Qualification We Prefer:
Experience with SAP
