Software Engineer
Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver land development and municipal engineering projects, overseeing design, permitting, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination while applying civil engineering expertise and advanced design tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and mentor a team of engineers and designers in the planning, design, and delivery of land development and municipal infrastructure projects.
- Manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery.
- Coordinate with municipal authorities, developers, and community stakeholders to secure permits, address regulatory requirements, and incorporate public input.
- Oversee the production of technical drawings and models using AutoCAD and GIS, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project performance against key metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in land development and municipal engineering, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, and other civil design software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
