Security Engineer
Lead cybersecurity risk initiatives and drive organizational change across the enterprise, applying ISRM frameworks, project management, and stakeholder engagement to enhance security posture and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute change management strategies for cybersecurity risk programs, ensuring alignment with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional projects that integrate ISRM (Information Security Risk Management) processes, tracking milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with security, IT, and business leaders to assess risk impacts, communicate changes, and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
- Design and deliver training, communication plans, and support materials to facilitate smooth adoption of new security controls and processes.
- Monitor and report on change effectiveness, adjusting tactics based on metrics, feedback, and emerging threats.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CISM, PMP) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity risk management, with a proven track record of leading organizational change initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of ISRM frameworks, ITIL/ITSM practices, and regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business solutions.
