Software Engineer
Lead the Practice Solutions team in designing AI‑driven tools and data‑analytics solutions that enhance legal service delivery across APAC, leveraging machine learning, process automation, and advanced analytics to drive client value.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the AI and innovation roadmap for the APAC region, aligning technology initiatives with the firm’s client‑service strategy.
- Collaborate with lawyers and business units to identify opportunities for AI, machine learning, and data‑analytics solutions that improve efficiency, risk assessment, and client outcomes.
- Design, prototype, and pilot AI‑enabled applications, including predictive analytics, natural‑language processing, and automated document workflows.
- Lead cross‑functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and knowledge‑management specialists to deliver scalable, production‑grade solutions.
- Establish governance, performance metrics, and continuous‑improvement processes for deployed AI tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering AI/ML or advanced analytics projects, preferably in a professional services or legal‑tech environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with data‑visualization and analytics platforms.
- Proven ability to translate complex business problems into data‑driven solutions and to communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with process automation, workflow orchestration, and knowledge‑management systems.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills across multicultural APAC teams.
