Software Engineer
Lead technical ownership of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance while guiding senior and junior engineers and driving best‑practice implementation across the platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of Guidewire PolicyCenter (and related Guidewire modules) for assigned business domains.
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, scalable, and secure code using Java, SQL, and Guidewire best practices.
- Lead a team of senior and junior developers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Ensure platform stability and performance through proactive monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and operations to align solutions with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on development experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.
- Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and web services integration.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical teams in an Agile environment.
- Deep understanding of Guidewire architecture, configuration, and customization.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to drive quality and reliability across complex insurance platforms.
