Description
The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that milestones are clearly understood and documented, and software development teams deliver high quality products and enhancements efficiently, predictably, and sustainably, focusing on resolving business problems/goals. They remove obstacles, facilitate effective collaboration, and support teams in meeting their delivery commitments and delivering value.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate the end-to-end delivery of software features, services, or platforms from discovery through deployment‑to‑end delivery of software features, services, or platforms from discovery through deployment.
- Track and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across squads and functions, feeding into central logs and steering board packs as required.
- Drive the delivery roadmap in partnership with Head of Products and Technical Leads.
- Cultivate strong, autonomous, high performing teams by promoting good delivery practices.
- Facilitate workshops, and collaborative planning sessions.
- Remove impediments that block progress to the delivery of core programme milestones —both within the team and at organisational level.
- Facilitate and coordinate multiple streams across IT and business functions, including preparation of ‘go-live’ and support of hyper care.
- Assist with managing cross team dependencies and facilitate alignment across multiple squads.
- Partner with architects, engineers, and product leaders to coordinate platform‑wide initiatives.

- Demonstrate Agile – Experience of Agile Scrum methodology.
