Key Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the engineering department, ensuring timely delivery of projects that enhance community services.
Implement Agile frameworks to improve team productivity, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with municipal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups to align engineering solutions with public needs.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and procurement processes to maximize value and maintain fiscal responsibility.
Lead the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of city systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in a public or large‑scale environment.
Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience coaching teams.
