Software Engineer
Lead a team of embedded software engineers developing secure, high‑reliability firmware for advanced aerospace systems using C/C++, RTOS, AUTOSAR, and MISRA compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement embedded software solutions for mission‑critical aerospace platforms.
- Lead a cross‑functional team, mentoring developers and driving best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA, safety, and security standards, conducting code reviews and static analysis.
- Collaborate with hardware, systems, and integration teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and automation pipelines.
Requirements
- 10+ years of embedded software development experience in C/C++ with deep knowledge of RTOS and AUTOSAR.
- Proven track record leading engineering teams in a regulated, safety‑critical environment.
- Strong understanding of MISRA guidelines, secure coding practices, and software verification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a matrixed organization.
- U.S. Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
