About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end development of credit risk models, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate business objectives into analytical solutions.
- Mentor and grow a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure model compliance with regulatory standards and internal governance frameworks.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, XGBoost, etc.).
- Strong background in statistical modeling, credit risk assessment, and A/B testing.
- Experience with large relational databases and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
