Lead the design and implementation of data‑driven business solutions for financial clients, driving strategy, architecture, and cloud adoption to unlock growth and operational excellence.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the data‑centric business architecture for banking and insurance clients, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable data models, ETL processes, and cloud‑based solutions (AWS/GCP).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (data scientists, developers, product owners) to deliver end‑to‑end data pipelines and analytics platforms.
- Champion best practices in data governance, quality, and security across the enterprise.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder engagements to capture needs, present solutions, and secure buy‑in.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture or business architecture within the financial services sector.
- Proven track record designing data models, ETL workflows, and cloud‑native data solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, and data integration tools.
- Experience with Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and change leadership.
- Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
