Software Engineer
Lead a high‑performing analytics team to deliver actionable business insights using BigQuery, DBT, and advanced data modeling within an Agile automation framework.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery of dashboards, reports, and data models that drive business decisions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in BigQuery, leveraging DBT for transformation and version control.
- Implement Agile practices, facilitating sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve team velocity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions.
- Mentor and coach analysts and data engineers, fostering a culture of data quality, documentation, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or data engineering, with a proven track record managing teams.
- Deep expertise in BigQuery, DBT, and relational data modeling.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile teams.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
