About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards that align with global regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to assess, document, and mitigate risks associated with AI/ML models, data usage, and algorithmic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with data science, product, and legal teams to embed ethical principles, fairness, and transparency into AI development lifecycles.
- Monitor emerging AI regulations, industry best practices, and technological trends to proactively update governance strategies.
- Provide training, guidance, and stakeholder communication to promote a culture of responsible AI across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Law, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML governance, risk management, or regulatory compliance within a large enterprise.
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), and emerging AI regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable policies.
- Experience with ML Ops tools, model monitoring, and audit processes is a plus.
