Software Engineer
Lead the development of a customer‑facing agentic AI platform, integrating LLMs, external APIs and OpenAI services to deliver intelligent experiences, while guiding a cross‑functional team and shaping product strategy.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and own the end‑to‑end architecture for the agentic AI product, combining large language models, autonomous agents, and internal/external APIs.
- Collaborate with OpenAI and other partners to integrate cutting‑edge model capabilities into the platform and the ChatGPT app.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers, setting technical direction and ensuring timely delivery.
- Define metrics, monitor performance, and iterate on the AI experience to maximize user engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive scalability and reliability on cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), implementing best practices for security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building AI‑driven products, with deep knowledge of large language models and agent frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with API design, micro‑services, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proven track record leading technical teams and delivering production‑grade machine‑learning solutions.
- Hands‑on experience integrating third‑party AI services such as OpenAI, including prompt engineering and model fine‑tuning.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
