Software Engineer
Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of business intelligence solutions, driving data‑driven decision making across the organization using SQL, Power BI and robust data governance practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of reporting and analytics solutions, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and data models to support cross‑functional reporting needs.
- Design and deliver interactive Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Implement and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, security and compliance across all reporting assets.
- Collaborate with business partners to translate strategic objectives into measurable KPIs and performance metrics.
- Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis, reporting and BI tool development, preferably in a public sector or large enterprise environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience building data models for Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data insights to non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality solutions on time.
