About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain NC programs using Siemens NX for complex parts.
- Validate and verify tool paths with Vericut to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Apply GD&T principles per ASME Y14.5M-1994 to interpret and document engineering drawings.
- Design and implement machining strategies for difficult‑to‑machine alloys such as Inconel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Create custom tooling and fixtures to optimize cycle time and part quality.
- Establish feeds, speeds, and setup sheets that enable first‑article success on tight‑tolerance components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and verification.
- Proficiency with Siemens NX and Vericut.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards.
- Hands‑on experience machining high‑performance alloys.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
