ML Engineer
Assist research teams with machine‑learning experiments, data preprocessing, model development, and performance evaluation using Python and modern ML frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Support faculty and research staff in designing and implementing machine‑learning pipelines for ongoing projects.
- Prepare, clean, and analyze datasets to ensure quality and suitability for model training.
- Develop, train, and fine‑tune models using frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Document experiment results, generate visualizations, and contribute to technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate ML solutions into larger research workflows.
Requirements
- Current undergraduate enrollment in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data preprocessing and exploratory analysis.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic software development practices.
