About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate machine learning models for synthesis planning and optimization in drug discovery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the drug development pipeline.
- Analyze large-scale chemical and biological datasets, extracting actionable insights for medicinal chemistry.
- Develop reproducible workflows and maintain model versioning using best practices in software engineering.
- Publish findings in internal reports and external scientific venues, contributing to the company’s thought leadership.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in computational chemistry, bioinformatics, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Strong background in machine learning techniques such as graph neural networks, reinforcement learning, or generative models.
- Experience with cheminformatics libraries (RDKit, Open Babel) and large‑scale data processing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
