About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy large‑scale machine learning models that power real‑time ad selection, bidding, and personalization.
- Collaborate with product, data engineering, and ad‑operations teams to define metrics, run experiments, and iterate on model performance.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Spark and AWS services to support feature engineering and model training at petabyte scale.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and statistical analysis to validate model impact on revenue, user experience, and advertiser ROI.
- Publish research findings, contribute to open‑source tools, and mentor junior engineers on best practices in ML engineering.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with 5+ years of applied machine learning experience.
- Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong background in statistical modeling, experimental design, and large‑scale data processing (Spark, Hadoop).
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Proven ability to translate business problems into scalable ML solutions and communicate results to cross‑functional stakeholders.
