ML Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end ML research and deployment for AI‑driven drug discovery, designing scalable workflows on massive compute platforms and advancing novel model architectures for molecular prediction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and deploy cutting‑edge machine learning models for molecular property prediction and generative chemistry.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and distributed training workflows on cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with chemists and data scientists to translate domain knowledge into model features and evaluation metrics.
- Optimize model performance and resource utilization, ensuring reproducibility and robustness at scale.
- Document research findings and contribute to open‑source tooling and internal knowledge bases.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Machine Learning, Computational Chemistry, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and distributed training libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and large‑scale data processing.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of publishing or patenting novel ML methods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast‑paced research environment.
