About The Team

The EGO team, part of the Search & Recommendation & Ads team, is committed to building an industry-leading MLP (machine learning platform) to effectively support the implementation of algorithms in many businesses such as recommendation, search, and advertising, and to optimize the CTR and CVR predictions in large-scale sparse parameter scenarios to maximize their performance in e-commerce and bring greater benefits to the company.

The EGO platform covers the entire process of deep machine learning, from organizing samples, training, to model building and publishing, to online model loading and providing inference services, and is equipped with a flexible and easy-to-use Web UI interface and Restful API interface, providing users with an end-to-end one-stop machine learning platform.

Job Description

• Participate in the development of a one-stop machine learning platform, provide an easy-to-use, stable, high-performance, platform-based distributed machine learning system, improve the efficiency and ease of use of the entire system, and accelerate the model iteration efficiency of algorithm members;
• In-depth research on various models in search, advertising, and recommendation scenarios, and optimize the training and inference efficiency of models;
• Able to work with search, recommendation, and advertising businesses to optimize the entire pipelines of online services from the engineering side, while ensuring the stability of services;

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above, computer/AI/software and other related majors;
• Proficient in data structures and its algorithms;
• Understand the principles of neural networks and be familiar with common machine learning algorithms;
• Familiar with C++ programming, familiar with the use of STL and multi-threaded programming;
• Familiar with the use of Linux operating system;
• Have a high enthusiasm for computer technology, have a deep research and practical spirit, and do things rigorously and meticulously;
• Have a strong team spirit and a strong ability to continue learning
