About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning pipelines for recommendation and demand‑forecasting systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to transform raw grocery data into actionable insights.
- Implement feature engineering, model training, hyper‑parameter tuning, and evaluation using TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Deploy models to production on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS) and monitor performance in real‑time.
- Document experiments, results, and best practices for reproducibility.
Requirements
- PhD candidate or recent PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with strong ML background.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience deploying ML models on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
