About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer, ML Ops, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure for our machine learning models. These models are crucial for highly visible product features at The Athletic, and your contributions will be key to their success.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain machine learning model productionization infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the data science team to streamline model training, validation, and deployment processes.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems for model performance, drift, and data quality to ensure accuracy in production.
• Champion best practices in ML Ops and evaluate and integrate new technologies into our data science stack to cultivate an outstanding data science environment.
