Machine Learning Engineer
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and deploy predictive models to improve travel demand prediction using contextual data and other industry sources. You will explore unstructured data to extract signals, turn business objectives into engineering projects, and experiment with feature extraction and model design.
Our team at Cirium faces the challenge of using contextual data to decipher what past travel patterns left unexplained. By disrupting historical travel patterns, Covid-19 made contextual data even more critical in predicting intention to travel. Restrictions, sentiment, and special circumstances influence today’s travel decisions more than ever. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to share ownership in solving this problem end to end, from exploring new data sources for building features to designing and putting predictive models into production and ensuring their consistent performance over time. We have terabytes of flights, events, and news data available, and we constantly add new data sources. We are looking for someone with sound technical knowledge in ML, statistics, and software engineering, the creativity to leverage this knowledge in solving unusual problems, and the will to operate while outside his/her comfort zone.
We are a technology and data science team acquired by Cirium, focused on bridging the gap between online media and industry through understanding how demographics make choices by what they have read. One of our primary products, Predict, leverages unstructured data around the web to measure intent for travel.
