ML Engineer
Remote Machine Learning Engineer responsible for collecting and preprocessing large CV datasets, building and optimizing predictive classification models using Python, deep learning frameworks, and NLP techniques, and enhancing model performance with advanced machine learning methods.

- Data Collection: Identify and gather relevant datasets from open-source platforms or by performing web scraping using tools like BeautifulSoup or Scrapy .
- Data Analysis and Preprocessing: Clean, prepare, and analyze datasets using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy to extract valuable insights and prepare the data for modeling.
- Model Development: Build, train, and evaluate machine learning models using libraries such as Scikit-learn , XGBoost , or similar tools to classify CVs and predict candidate suitability for job roles.
- Model Evaluation and Optimization: Use techniques such as Cross-Validation and Hyperparameter Tuning (e.g., GridSearchCV , RandomizedSearchCV ) to optimize model performance.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn to present findings and model results.
- Reporting: Document model results, prepare reports, and communicate findings with stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members such as data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to integrate machine learning solutions into existing platforms.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and model building, preferably in CV or job market-related projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with libraries like Pandas , Scikit-learn , XGBoost , BeautifulSoup , and Matplotlib .
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, random forest, SVM, boosting).
- Experience with Web Scraping and knowledge of APIs is a plus.
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform feature engineering for text data (e.g., TF-IDF , One-Hot Encoding ).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Machine Learning: Ability to build and optimize models for classification problems.
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to clean, process, and interpret data.
- Programming: Advanced knowledge of Python and libraries for machine learning and data analysis.
- Data Visualization: Experience creating visual reports to present data findings.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
