Lead advanced analytics projects as a Machine Learning Data Scientist, applying Python, ML techniques, and cloud tools to transform health data into actionable insights for pediatric care.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to predict patient outcomes and optimize clinical workflows.
- Collaborate with clinicians and data engineers to curate, clean, and analyze large-scale health datasets.
- Implement end-to-end data pipelines using SQL, Python, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear reports and visualizations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and data scientists.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of building and deploying ML models in a production environment.
- Experience with SQL and relational database design.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
