ML Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of MLOps and AI/ML engineers, setting technical direction and engineering standards for building, deploying, and operating machine learning systems at scale.
- Design, develop, and optimize end‑to‑end ML workflows on Databricks using PySpark and MLlib, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, including data pipelines, model serving, and monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and product teams to translate business requirements into robust AI/ML pipelines that support advanced analytics and generative AI use cases.
- Implement best practices for model versioning, reproducibility, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) of ML models.
Requirements
- Strong experience with PySpark, MLlib, and Databricks for large‑scale data processing and model training.
- Proficiency in AWS services (S3, EMR, SageMaker, Lambda, CloudFormation) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Hands‑on experience with MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and model monitoring.
- Knowledge of generative AI techniques and ability to integrate them into production pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical teams.
