As a Security Specialist at Lowe's, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security posture of our systems and data. This includes identifying and mitigating potential security threats, developing and enforcing security policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security controls to protect against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction of information.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security and integrity of our technology infrastructure.
- Identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement incident response plans to address security incidents.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a security role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards (e.g. NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, and AWS.
- Experience with machine learning and data analytics a plus.
