Software Engineer
Provide lifecycle logistics and maintenance expertise for aircraft and mission system programs, conducting supportability, reliability, and operational analyses to optimize logistics requirements and sustainment milestones.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute logistics plans for aircraft, mission systems, and support equipment throughout acquisition and sustainment phases.
- Perform supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses to identify cost‑effective logistics solutions.
- Generate logistics element requirements, tailoring recommendations, and optimization strategies for program milestones.
- Collaborate with engineering, program management, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of logistics support with mission objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, data visualizations, and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in defense logistics, supply chain management, or aviation maintenance support.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, MATLAB) and logistics modeling techniques.
- Strong understanding of defense acquisition processes and security clearance eligibility.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills.
