Systems Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of high‑availability Linux infrastructure, leveraging AWS, automation, and monitoring tools to support cutting‑edge aerospace propulsion systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable Linux servers on AWS to support mission‑critical propulsion software.
- Develop and maintain Bash and Python automation scripts for configuration, patching, and performance tuning.
- Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads.
- Diagnose and resolve complex networking, storage, and security issues in a high‑availability environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Linux system administration in production environments.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform).
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
