Systems Engineer
Experienced Linux System Administrator to lead consolidation of heterogeneous environments into a unified, secure platform, leveraging Bash automation, Ansible configuration management, Docker containerization, and AWS cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a unified Linux infrastructure that consolidates multiple legacy systems.
- Develop and maintain Bash scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate provisioning, configuration, and patch management.
- Containerize services using Docker and orchestrate deployments to improve scalability and reliability.
- Integrate the environment with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM) for cloud‑based workloads and disaster recovery.
- Monitor system performance, security posture, and availability, responding to incidents and performing root‑cause analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience administering Linux servers in production environments.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Experience with Docker containerization and basic orchestration concepts.
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and networking.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to security best practices, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
