Software Engineer
Provide technical support and configuration for LIMS deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful implementation while collaborating with lab and IT teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and deploy LIMS modules according to client specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting LIMS performance.
- Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) for data migration, automation, and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists and IT staff to gather requirements and validate system functionality.
- Produce technical documentation, validation reports, and user guides for implemented solutions.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with LIMS implementation, configuration, or support.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and database troubleshooting.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash on Linux environments.
- Understanding of API integration and data exchange standards in laboratory settings.
- Excellent problem‑solving communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, temporary project environment.
