Software Engineer
Lead data stewardship for laboratory information systems, ensuring data integrity, quality, and efficient reporting using SQL, Excel, and LIMS tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize LIMS databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across laboratory workflows.
- Develop and execute SQL queries and reports to support analytical and operational decision‑making.
- Collaborate with laboratory scientists and IT to define data standards, validation rules, and audit trails.
- Implement data quality checks, troubleshoot discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Generate regular dashboards and ad‑hoc reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing LIMS environments and relational databases.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of laboratory processes and regulatory compliance (e.g., GLP, ISO 17025) is a plus.
