Systems Engineer
A Level 2 Systems Engineer who will maintain and enhance customer software and hardware environments, coordinate complex projects, and implement secure infrastructure solutions using Windows, Linux, virtualization, and scripting technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor the design, performance, and integrity of client software and hardware systems.
- Coordinate and execute complex implementation projects for new and existing customers.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot virtualized environments using VMware and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts in PowerShell and Python to streamline operations.
- Provide tier‑2 support for Windows Server and Linux platforms, including patch management and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and business continuity requirements.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with VMware virtualization and related management tools.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and problem resolution.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with security frameworks and best practices in a managed services environment.
