About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to analyze legal documents, contracts, and case data.
- Apply natural language processing techniques to extract insights, automate classification, and support legal research.
- Collaborate with legal and technology teams to design data pipelines and integrate solutions into practice management systems.
- Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and statistical analysis to support evidence-based decision making.
- Maintain and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for scalable model training and inference.
Requirements
- Strong background in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face) and legal text processing.
- Proficiency in cloud services, preferably AWS (S3, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate complex legal data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
