Data Analyst
Legal Data Analyst responsible for enriching, validating, and delivering high‑quality legal data sets using Python, SQL, and ETL pipelines while supporting Bloomberg Industry Group products and providing client‑focused data solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to ingest, cleanse, and enrich legal data from multiple sources.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of delivered datasets.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and analytical solutions.
- Create dashboards and visual reports that communicate insights and data health metrics to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data‑related issues, ensuring timely resolution for Bloomberg Industry Group users.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of legal data structures, taxonomy, and enrichment techniques.
- Ability to translate complex data problems into clear, actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
