About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive regulatory strategy for stablecoins, digital payments, and digital asset products across multiple jurisdictions.
- Analyze evolving regulatory frameworks, including AML/KYC, MiCA, PSD2, and national securities laws, to ensure product compliance.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and technical teams to embed regulatory requirements into product design and go‑to‑market plans.
- Draft and review legal documentation, licensing agreements, and regulatory filings for new digital asset initiatives.
- Provide ongoing counsel on regulatory changes, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification with admission to practice law.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptocurrency, digital payments, or fintech regulatory practice.
- In-depth knowledge of stablecoin regulation, AML/KYC, MiCA, PSD2, and related cross‑border compliance issues.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable business guidance.
- Proven track record of advising on product launches and regulatory approvals in a fast‑moving fintech environment.
