About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver graduate coursework in Digital Engineering, including SYS ENG 6543.
- Create comprehensive syllabi, lecture materials, and assessment tools that transition students from document-centric to model-based systems engineering.
- Integrate distributed systems architecture, modeling, simulation, and representation into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty to align course content with departmental research and industry trends.
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong background in digital engineering, distributed systems, and model-based systems engineering.
- Experience with simulation tools and modeling languages (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
