About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean and analyze large datasets from pipeline monitoring systems to identify leakage patterns.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and reporting.
- Create GIS maps and visualizations to communicate findings to engineering and management teams.
- Apply statistical methods to quantify leakage rates and predict future incidents.
- Collaborate with field engineers to validate data and refine detection algorithms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data analysis with Python and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data handling.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting technical insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Background or interest in water utilities and infrastructure is a plus.
