Software Engineer
Lead a hybrid engineering team delivering secure, cloud‑native solutions for U.S. government customers, leveraging Cisco technologies, Agile practices, and modern DevOps pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team in the design, development, and deployment of secure, cloud‑based solutions for classified U.S. government environments.
- Define architecture standards and ensure compliance with government security requirements and Cisco best practices.
- Drive Agile processes, sprint planning, and continuous delivery using CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Partner with product, security, and operations stakeholders to align engineering output with business objectives and regulatory constraints.
Requirements
- U.S. Person status with ability to work on classified government projects.
- 5+ years of software or systems engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or private cloud) and network security concepts.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking/ security platforms and modern development tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
- Demonstrated success applying Agile/DevOps methodologies to deliver complex, secure solutions.
