Lead Test Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and automating test processes for electronic components, ensuring product quality and compliance with industry standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test procedures for electronic components.
- Lead the execution of functional, performance, and reliability tests, including automated test scripts.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
- Implement and improve test automation frameworks to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Document test findings, generate detailed reports, and present results to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in test engineering for electronic components, with a strong understanding of test methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Solid knowledge of quality assurance principles and industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
