Software Engineer
Lead the design, delivery, and mentorship of large‑scale data engineering and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, driving end‑to‑end project execution and client success.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Databricks, leveraging Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust, production‑ready designs and oversee quality assurance.
- Lead cross‑functional workstreams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure timely delivery of complex project work.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, analysts, and client stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
- Drive continuous improvement of development practices, coding standards, and deployment automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics with a strong focus on Databricks and Spark.
- Proficiency in Python and Scala for data processing and model deployment.
- Deep knowledge of Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, and MLflow for MLOps.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
