QA Engineer
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced test consoles for reaction wheels and control moment gyros, driving test strategy, automation, and documentation to ensure product reliability and performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end test lifecycle for complex test consoles, including requirements analysis, test planning, and execution.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Python and MATLAB to validate hardware and firmware performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new test hardware and software, ensuring seamless product integration.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and defect reports.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.
- Mentor junior test engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems test engineering for aerospace or high‑reliability hardware.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, design, execution, and documentation.
- Experience with test hardware integration and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
