Lead the execution of capacity governance controls, manage breach lifecycles, and drive automation of capacity processes across cloud and on‑premise infrastructure while ensuring compliance with enterprise risk and control standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Execute the Capacity Governance suite of control activities, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk, compliance, and control frameworks.
- Manage the end‑to‑end capacity breach lifecycle: identify, escalate, track, and remediate capacity‑related incidents.
- Identify automation opportunities within capacity processes and implement scripts or tooling to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Lead the onboarding of new infrastructure products into the Capacity Governance framework, establishing standards and documentation.
- Collaborate with cloud and data‑center teams to monitor resource utilization, forecast demand, and recommend scaling strategies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems operations, capacity planning, or IT governance roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on‑premise virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage incident lifecycles, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and present governance findings to senior leadership.
